Kent and Sussex are home to many wonderful established vineyards and breweries, offering tastings and tours. Mousehall Distillery and Winery specialises in Gin and Vodka and is walkable across the fields.

Bowles Rocks provides skiing and snowboarding independent sessions and lessons on their dry ski slopes. Rock climbing is also popular at Bowles, on their south facing limestone outcrop (230 climbs, <10m).

Our traditional wildflower meadow. So far we have recorded: snake's head fritillaria, corky fruited water dropwort, black knapweed, yellow rattle, common bird's foot trefoil, yarrow, meadow buttercup, red clover, white clover, common sorrel, creeping buttercup, lesser stitchwort, ribwort plantain, meadow vetchling, selfheal, orchids, common mouse ear, sweet vernal grass, crested dog's tail, Yorkshire fog, common couch, meadow grasses, cocks foot and meadow foxtail.

There is also an art gallery, ceramic studio and cafe on site. Dog and child friendly with walking and cycling in the woods.

Ashdown Forest ('Pooh Country'), is the magical woodland that inspired the idyllic home of Winnie-the-Pooh. It provides over 6,500 acres of walking across heathland and through forest, with fantastic wildlife, and Pooh Sticks Bridge.
